Our school has a new special team! It is called The Security Squad. This group helps make our school safe and friendly for everyone. Fifteen amazing kids were chosen by their classroom teachers to be Junior Security Officers (JSOs). They are like very important student helpers! Officer R. DeMaria will lead the team and show them what to do. These students will have big jobs: they will watch the hallways for safety and check all the doors to make sure they are closed and locked the right way. The JSOs are our helpful, friendly eyes that keep our school be happy and secure!
